Coplay is a borough in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It is located in the eastern part of the state, only few miles away from the city of Allentown. The borough is located along the Lehigh River. According to the United States Census Bureau of 2000, the borough of Coplay has 3,387 residents. It has a total area of 0.6 square miles of which, 0.6 square miles of it is land and 0.04 square miles of it is water.

Coplay has more than 1,400 households. The median income for a household in the borough is $38,679, and the median income for a family is $46,278. The racial demographics of the Coplay are 96.84% White, 1.56% African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.32% Asian, 0.53% from other races, and 0.65% from two or more races.
